PBEd Conducts Regional Round Table Discussions

PBEd recently held roundtable discussions in partnership with USAID Philippines in the cities of Cagayan de Oro, Iloilo, and Batangas. These series of roundtable discussions are part of the Higher Education and Productivity Project  (HEPP).

By bringing key individuals from local academe, industry, and government together the RTDs aimed to identify the educational and human resource needs of the city, specific solutions were then determined by the participants to address these needs.

Common solutions that emerged from the three cities were:

PBEd Conducts PSG Parallel Review Workshop

Tagaytay City – Philippine Business for Education (PBEd) in partnership with the United States Agency for International Development / Philippines (USAID) recently held its Policies, Standards, and Guidelines (PSGs) Parallel Review Workshop at the Taal Vista Hotel, Tagaytay City last September 3, 2013.

The one-day workshop brought together around forty industry representatives from the sectors of management, information technology, tourism, and electronics. This gave them the opportunity to discuss the desired competencies from fresh graduates in their respective sectors.
