Who we are
We are a non-profit organization founded in 2006 by the country's top business leaders who believe in the critical role of education in nation-building. We, at Philippine Business for Education (PBEd) serve as the business community’s response to the need for sustained and strategic education reform in the Philippines. Core to our approach is building consensus, as neutral but critical industry voice, on specific education policies.
Our three areas of work are: basic education reform, teacher quality improvement, and workforce development. We count among our successes the shift into K to 12 basic education system, greater academe-industry-government collaboration, increasing participation of industry in education, and the development of a reform agenda for the Duterte administration.
